Leaders and Civil Servants Send Well Wishes to Celebrate the 68th Birthday of the First Lady

PHNOM PENH: On the 68th birthday of the First Lady, Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, on 15 December 2022, many leaders and civil servants send well wishes to celebrate her birthday.

Senate President Say Chhum, Second Vice President of the Senate Tep Ngorn, and Oknha Mong Reththy, Chair of the Third Committee of the Senate also sent letters of congratulations.

In the congratulatory letter, Senate president Say Chhum praised the wise leadership of the First Lady in her hard work, mind, and spirit to fulfill her noble task in the cause of humanitarian work to reduce poverty and promote the dignity and role of women in society. Moreover, she has helped people affected by natural disasters and receive strong support from all national and international circles.

President of National Assemby Heng Samrin also sent a message to wish the First Lady good health, wisdom, and long life to continue to lead the Cambodian Red Cross to success in the future.

Minister of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection, Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An, expressed her gratitude for the First Lady's excellent humanitarian activities who has devoted her personal energy and resources to fulfilling her busy missions in the fields of humanitarian, social, cultural, educational and religious affairs, in particular, have established orphanages and various development centers to promote the well-being of women and children, as well as make high recommendations in protecting women and babies during pregnancy and childbirth.

The Ministers also issued congratulatory messages, in which the Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, Chea Sophara, wished great blessings to the First Lady, who is always exhausted and mentally working hard to bring lots of success, especially the efforts to mobilize humanitarian assistance to help the poor, the elderly, the homeless, orphans, persons with disabilities and people living with AIDS better lives with the Royal Government’s aid.

Separately, the Minister of Justice, Keut Rith also sent a message of congratulations and praise to the First Lady that she is the first outstanding female dignitary of Cambodia and the wife of the Prime Minister who always participated in the journey to encourage and support the Prime Minister in the mission to lead the nation and the people of Cambodia, to end the bloody war in Cambodia, and to make the country completely peaceful.
